How should I install the perimeter wire along a flat edge, a flower bed, small cliff (not more than 1cm), or a small stair (up to 5cm)?

RX-Model

If the edge is relatively flat, lay the wire at RoboRuler distance II (26cm) from it.

If the edge is a drop, use distance III (36cm) of the RoboRuler to prevent the wheels from driving into a ditch:

If the working area borders with a flower bed (or any other soft obstacle, that you want to avoid Robomow bumping into it), lay the perimeter Wire at distance IV (45cm):

If the working area borders with a flat area, a flower bed, a small cliff (not more than 1 cm / 0.4”), or a small stair (up to 5 cm / 2”), the Perimeter Wire should be laid 20 cm (8 inches) inside the working area. This prevents the wheels from driving into a ditch. Use the shorter distance of the RoboRuler to set the distance of the wire from the lawn edge.

RS/MS-Model

If the working area borders with a flat area, a flower bed, a small cliff (not more than 1 cm / 0.4”), or a small stair (up to 5 cm / 2”), the Perimeter Wire should be laid 32 cm (1 ft) inside the working area. This prevents the wheels from driving into a ditch. Use the shorter distance of the RoboRuler to set the distance of the wire from the lawn edge.
